URZA AND THE SONG IN THE DARK
By Matriark Theatre

Come on an adventure through a subterranean wonderland of complex caves, underground lakes and mystical creatures in this brand new fable.

After centuries of mining, the town’s hill has lost its ‘Song Spirit’ and all that remains are the shadows of its stones. When a mysterious song leads one of the miners, Urza, into the depths of the earth her world is shaken. Along the way she befriends a lost explorer, gets pursued by a mysterious force and finds herself caught up in a primeval story of legendary proportions.

Featuring shadow projections, live music and puppetry, this intimate production will spark your students’ imaginations.

Add the workshop to your booking to enhance your students experience! Join Matriark Theatre as they reveal their unique approach to shadow puppetry, physical performance and shadow play in a hands-on experience that will allow your students to bring a world of their own creations to life.
