FOLLOW ME HOME
Created by Australian Theatre for Young People in association with the Advocate for Children and Young People

Follow Me Home is an insightful new theatrical production by award-winning playwright Lewis Treston. Presented as a series of vignettes, the play reveals the real stories of a group of extraordinarily strong, resilient and courageous young people across Australia.

Telling the truth and sharing your story takes guts. Real guts. How do you tell your friend she can’t sleep over anymore? How do you share something deeply personal with a sibling but keep things the same? How do three friends set up house together when they’re living day to day? And what if being honest means you’re out on the street?

Told with heart, honesty and humanity, this thought-provoking work from Australian Theatre for Young People is a must see for audiences aged 15 and above. Four talented young actors take on multiple roles in a show that will leave you with a shift in perspective, a little more compassion and a deeper understanding of the world around you.
