Riverside's National Theatre of Parramatta presents

Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam

Lennox Theatre

18 October - 27 October 2018

Event Type

Live Event

Based on the book by acclaimed Australian author Peter Goldsworthy, this world premiere production is a powerful reminder of what we do for those we love.

Which way does your moral compass turn? What would you do for your family? Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam is an evocative, haunting and moving tale.

Exploring the nature of an ideal family by boycotting the outside world and its evils, the Pollards create a cocoon for a perfect world, defining their lives through each other.

Their world is flipped on its head when illness breaches the sanctuary. What promises do you make to your child? How far would you go to protect your family?

Would you die for your child or someone you love?
