Join us and help Jenny Ellis (The Owl’s Apprentice) solve the mystery and learn why the Bowerbird, an extraordinary Australian creature, is so fascinated by the colour blue in this interactive show featuring puppetry and clowning.

“A gorgeous little show that was educating at the same time! My 3 and 5 year old sons loved it. They were smiling the entire way through (as was I!). Very clever puppeteer and beautiful props.”

Relaxed performances are sensory friendly performances where the perceived ‘rules’ of theatre are modified to allow patrons with Autism and other specific needs to enjoy the performance in a safe and welcoming environment.

Modifications will differ depending on the show, but can include:

  • The house lights being dimmed, but not turned all the way down;
  • The theatre doors being left open with the understanding that patrons may enter and exit during the performance as needed;
  • Elements of the show that may include loud noises or sudden bright lights being toned down or removed.

The performance of A Little Bit of Blue on Saturday 30 September at 10:15am is a relaxed performance.
