Burlinson and Sinatra Retrospective

The Man From Snowy River

Venue Raffertys Theatre
Dates 05 August 2016

To celebrate Tom Burlinson performing the classic live album Sinatra at the Sands at Riverside on 10 September in honour of Sinatra’s 100th birthday, we are screening a retrospective of a number of Burlinson and Sinatra films.

Based on the Banjo Patterson poem, don’t miss the award-winning and iconic Australian film starring Tom Burlinson, Sigrid Thornton and Kirk Douglas back on the big screen!

After the death of his father, Jim Craig sets out to become his own man. Taking a job with horse rancher Harrison Craig is treated poorly, but wins the heart of the rancher’s daughter, Jessica, when he helps her break a high-strung colt and later saves her life. When he’s unfairly blamed for the loss of an expensive horse, Craig fights to restore his honour and prove that he’s worthy of Jessica’s hand.
