THE LAST GOLDFISH

Featuring post-screening Q&A with director Su Goldfish

Winner – Foxtel Movies Audience Award for Best Documentary Top Ten at Sydney Film Festival 2017, this is a gripping and deeply-moving documentary of one person’s search for the story of her life and lost family.

Manfred Goldfish tries as hard as he can to hide the trauma he has experienced. But his filmmaker daughter suspects there is more to the Goldfish tale than her father is willing to reveal.

Rich with archival images, this suspenseful and surprising story – stretching from Australia to Trinidad, North America to WWII Germany – reveals the impact of war and displacement across generations.
