Sotiris is currently in post-production on his first feature film Joe Cinque’s Consolation. This will be a must see session for filmmakers wanting the inside scoop on making their first feature film!
Chloe Rickard is the producer of the Stan’s first original commission No Activity and the multi-platform comedy Soul Mates (a TV spin off of the Bondi Hispters). Chloe has produced for some of Australia’s best comedy directors including Wayne Blair (The Sapphires), Trent O’Donnell (New Girl) and Van Vuuren Bros (Bondi Hipsters).This discussion will explore new approaches to development, how it all came about, where it is going and how you can be involved!

Sotiris Dounoukos
Sotiris is an award-winning graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts School of Film and Television in Melbourne, Australia, where he received the Outstanding Post-Graduate Student Award. His short films have screened extensively at international film festivals.
Sotiris’ training includes tutorship under the dramaturg Nico Lathouris and he is a member of the Australian Directors Guild.
Sotiris’ shorts have screened at over 180 festivals around the world and acquired numerous sales and awards. Past films include Mona Lisa (2004), winner of Best Student Production at Melbourne International Film Festival, and Paper and Sand (2007). In 2011, he was the recipient of the ACT Creative Arts Fellowship which enabled him to develop a slate of projects with market and mentor feedback.
He is currently in post production on his debut feature, Joe Cinque’s Consolation. The film is the highly anticipated screen adaptation of Helen Garner’s celebrated book of the same name.
Chloe Rickard
Chloe is a filmmaker rapidly emerging as one of Australia’s most dynamic and innovative comedy producers. She has worked for nine years with Jungleboys, producing over 200 TVCs and serving as lead producer on Soul Mates, The Moodys, A Moody Christmas, Elegant Gentlemen’s Guide to Knife Fighting and No Activity (Stan’s first original commission). She is currently in pre-production of Here Come the Habibs for Nine, developing The Murderous Urges of Ordinary Women with backing from Screen Australia, and producing the Bondi Hipsters Movie with the Van Vurren Bros. Chloe is also a recipient of Screen Australia’s Enterprise Growth program and one of the founders of the Screenfutures think tank, a group of young thought leaders whose research into piracy recently won the support of the Content Coalition formed by News Corp, Village Roadshow, Foxtel and other leaders of the screen business.
