The documentary covers the events of 9/10th September 1943, when Partisans and Chetniks killed almost a third of Zrin’s inhabitants.

In a genocidal campaign, they set fire to the place, and displaced the survivors. It also points to the injustice experienced and still experienced by the people of Zrin in their search for truth and justice.

The documentary film “Zrin 1943” is dedicated to all victims of communist crimes and was filmed on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the terrible crimes in Zrin. We invite you to watch the film and learn more about Croatian history.
