Don't miss Sydney Comedy Club's (rather hilarious) comedians from home and abroad, for a healthy dose of laughs this October!

This month six comedians walk into Raffertys Theatre for a whole lot of funny business!

The October line-up* is:

Sam Silla

Sam Silla is one of Australia’s up and coming comedians. His unique perspective on life has landed him spots performing all over the country. His debut show at the Canberra Comedy Festival sold out and earned rave reviews. Sam has performed with some of the biggest comedians in the country including Claire Hooper, Dane Simpson, Luke Heggie and Chris Ryan. Sam was a RAW State Finalist in 2023 and performs regularly at comedy clubs throughout the country.

Leon Anderson

Leon Anderson is a Stand Up Comedian from the Central Coast of NSW who has appeared on the footy show 3 times. A regular on the Comedy circuit and was a wildcard and finalist in Comedy on the Rox. Was runner up in the South Coast raw comedy competition. Very dry witted and straight shooting comic.

Kurt Sterling

“Kurt Sterling is a fresh faced comedian with a knack for hilarious story telling and getting himself in bizarre situations. When he’s not on stage he loves all sports and once randomly found himself playing rugby league for Thailand”

JJ Mullard

First coming to Australia in the mid 80’s (1980’s that is…) JJ quickly established himself as a big favourite with Aussie audiences touring with the International Stars. JJ bridges the gap between new and old style comedy with observational humour and quick fire gags.

Freya Reviews

Freya Reviews loves a chat with the crowd… But in a nice way. She has been entertaining audiences for 5 years with her lists and reviews.

David Truong

David is a Vietnamese-Chinese comedian born and raised in Sydney. His passion for comedy stems from watching Seinfeld as a young boy. David’s style revolves around his cultural background, daily observations, and hilarious impressions. David is a regular around the Sydney comedy scene. You might have seen him at the Sydney Comedy Club, Happy Endings Comedy Club, The Running Joke and a successful Laugh Out of Lockdown show, ‘Two Finance Managers and an IT Nerd’. He is straight-faced with unpredictable punchlines! David’s comedy has been described as relatable and has a sharp focus on comedic timing. He hopes he can invite his parents to a show without them being offended.
