Get a dose of the funnies with Sydney Comedy Club’s top-rating (and rather hilarious) comedians.

The June line-up* is:

Sam Silla

Sam Silla is one of Australia’s up-and-coming comedians. His unique perspective on life has landed him spots performing all over the country. His debut show at the Canberra Comedy Festival sold out and earned rave reviews. Sam has performed with some of the biggest comedians in the country, including Claire Hooper, Dane Simpson, Luke Heggie and Chris Ryan. Sam was a RAW State Finalist in 2023 and performs regularly at comedy clubs throughout the country.

Sarah Stewart

Sarah Stewart is a midwife, mother, married to a hoarder, and does comedy to get away from them all. Sarah performs regularly in Canberra and Sydney, has had sold out shows at the Canberra Comedy Festival and was nominated for “Best in Comedy” at the Sydney Fringe Festival last year. She’s currently working on a solo show which she plans to tour in the next few months.

Jackie Loeb

Winner of the prestigious Australian Mo Award for ‘Comedian of the Year’, Jackie Loeb has been a fixture on the global stand-up comedy landscape since she burst onto the scene. Jackie was a cast member and writer on the iconic sketch comedy series Full Frontal and has appeared on Stand Up Australia, Studio Ten, Tonightly, Good News Week, The Footy Show, The Comedy Channel and is a regular guest panelist on ABC Radio’s Thank God It’s Friday with Richard Glover. Jackie has wowed audiences across Australia and around the world with numerous appearances at The Sydney Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, New Zealand International Comedy Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Hollywood Fringe Festival, Aspen Comedy Festival and the Vodafone Comedy Festival in South Africa where she was described as “The pick of the crop.” Splitting her time between Australia and the US, Jackie was a series regular on the Emmy Award nominated Netflix series Trash Truck, where she voiced the role of a wise and worldly Australian Rat. She also made several guest appearances on hit TV shows such as Superstore, Better things as well as headlining comedy clubs across Los Angeles and beyond. Jackie has shared the stage with some of the world’s best comedians including Weird Al Yankovic, Julia Morris, Gina Yashere, Wil Anderson, Judith Lucy and Craig Robinson just to name a few.

 

Lochlann McAllister

Lochlann McAllister, a standout comedian based in Sydney, has carved a niche for himself in the comedy circuit with his unique blend of humor and biting wit. Lochlann clinched victory at the Joke Off in 2023 and continued his winning streak by taking first place in the 2024 Roast Battle competition. These achievements have established him as a physical and mental threat to the inferior.
