List of comedians

DAVID TRUONG

David, a Vietnamese-Chinese comedian hailing from Sydney, has a unique comedic style that is deeply rooted in his cultural background. His daily observations and hilarious impressions are a testament to his diverse heritage. David is a regular on the Sydney Comedy Scene. You might have seen him at the Sydney Comedy Club, Happy Endings Comedy Club, or a successful Laugh Out of Lockdown show, ‘Two Finance Managers and an IT Nerd’. He is straight-faced and has unpredictable punchlines! David’s comedy has been described as relatable and sharply focused on comedic timing. He hopes he can invite his parents to a show without them being offended.

LEON ANDERSON

Leon hails from the New South Wales Central Coast and has appeared on The NRL Footy Show three times. As a regular on the comedy circuit, he gained himself a Wildcard entry and became a finalist in ‘Comedy at The Rox’. With his dry-witted, straight-shooting comedic style, he was runner-up in the South Coast Raw comedy competition.

SUMI IYER

Suma Iyer is a charlatan who peddles some of the sharpest nonsense you’ll ever hear. She is Indian-born and Canberra-based, but she is mostly just delighted to be here. She is a 2024 Raw Comedy National Finalist and has performed with Rove McManus, Paul McDermott, Claire Hooper, Dane Simpson, and more.

KIYANOSH SAHEBI

Kiyanosh Sahebi is an Iranian-Australian comedian and 2024 RAW National Finalist. Born and raised in Sydney, Kiyanosh blends his self-deprecating black humour with light-hearted absurdism that helps audiences forget the world is slowly ending. Batteries included!

PETER GLEESON

Absolute shambles of a man, Peter Gleeson has been writing and performing comedy for roughly the lifespan of a large dog and bumbling around on Earth for roughly half the lifespan of an overweight, diabetic human. As a kid, Peter found the real world a bit dull. He spent most of his childhood creating his own worlds, a hobby he’s yet to grow out of. Despite being reasonably intelligent and knowing quite a few big words, Peter’s comedy leans toward the silly. A surreal frolic through the thoughts of a man who enjoys a bubble bath while listening to death metal. A chaotic jigsaw puzzle assembled with pieces from five different puzzles and a few Lego bricks held together with chewing gum and spit. He has performed multiple solo shows in the Sydney Fringe and Sydney Comedy festivals, written and performed sketch comedy, and written for and been a team captain in a comedy quiz show. If you like your comedy ridiculous with a touch of anarchy, fill your auditory and visual sense receptors with a bit of Pete’s comedy.

RIV NARAK

Riv Narak is a regular on the Sydney circuit; he’s a two-time RAW Comedy NSW finalist and the Lithgow Comedy Festival’s Best New Comic of 2023. Recently off sold-out shows at the Sydney Fringe (Class Browns), Riv was also featured on the lineup for the 2023 Sydney Fringe ‘Fresh Cuts’ show. In 2024, Riv will tour his hour-long show across the country.

MITCH GARLING

Mitch is a regular on the Aussie comedy scene, including several runs at the World Famous Comedy Store. Using his dry wit, he has won over audiences all over Australia, including sold-out shows at the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals.
