Get a dose of the funnies with Sydney Comedy Club’s top-rating (and rather hilarious) comedians.

The April line-up* is:

Peter Green

Experienced crowd-pleaser Peter Green has told jokes literally everywhere in Australia. His act has been described as like a Gary Larsen cartoon come to life. First hitting the stage back at the iconic Harold Park Hotel in 1988, Peter has played at all the major comedy venues in Australia and New Zealand as well as cattle stations, RAAF bases, outback campfires, rough-as-guts mining towns, caravan parks, roadhouses and the front of the bus on his Contiki tour.

Equally at home headlining at the comedy clubs, if you haven’t wet yourself at his live act, you’ve definitely laughed at jokes he has written. His writing credits include Australia’s Funniest Home Video Show, the TV Week Logie Awards, The Matty Johns Show and O’loghlin On Saturday Night.

Winner of the NSW final of the Triple J RAW Comedy competition in 1997.

Christina Van Look

Christina Van Look has performed extensively in Australia and overseas including New York’s iconic Gotham Comedy Club. She also featured on ‘The Darren Sanders Show’ on Foxtel and Peter Berner’s ‘The B-Team’ on Sky News.

“Christina Van Look is one terrifically funny woman. Nothing is as refreshing as a mother with a disdain for children.” – Rick Crom (Inside Amy Schumer, Chappell’s Show)

“One of the funniest women in comedy.” – Mikey Robbins (Good News Week)

Anthony Locascio

Anthony Locascio is one of Australian comedy’s rising stars. Blending sharp joke writing with musings on his ethnic background, Anthony is best known for his unique storytelling.

He completed back to back national tours in 2022 and 2023 with the highly successful ‘Don’t Call Me A Wog!’ and ‘Heart Of Darkness’.

These took him to the Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Perth, Newcastle, Wollongong and Sydney Comedy Festivals, as well as indipendant shows in Brisbane and Canberra.

He was hand picked for the Perth and Sydney Comedy Festival Galas in 2021 & 2022.

“Anthony embodies the thinking man’s comedian, prepared to traverse the publicly taboo and unexplored recesses of the human psyche”
