Krishna - The embodiment of love. When we hear the word Krishna our heart is filled with love, For Krishna can be our son, our friend, our brother, our Guru, even our partner and what not?
We all know about Krishna and we might all to some extent know the story of his birth and his wonderful, mesmerizing childhood leelas (plays). The beauty of Krishna Leela is that every time you see it, read it or hear it, you experience a new marvel and a new kind of bliss for we humans can do only so much to portray the beautiful acts of our beloved Krishna.
On that note, Mayura Academy is delighted to present to you all an enthralling experience of taking you to the world of Krishna through our Sri Krishna Leela Makarandam. This is the academy’s first major production choreographed by guru Sri Venkata Ramana Karanam in the traditional dance drama style of Kuchipudi.
Join us to enter the world of trance as you follow the miracles of Lord Krishna from his birth till he slayed Kamsa through the classical dance form of Kuchipudi.
