Seniors come celebrate the festive season with a Christmas movie, treats, and greetings from the Lord Mayor at Riverside Theatres.

We invite all Seniors in our community to join us for a festive morning tea with an official greeting from the Lord Mayor of the City of Parramatta Council.

Watch the Christmas movie, The Man Who Invented Christmas, a story set in 1843 about how Charles Dickens created A Christmas Carol and formed a well-known tradition.

Seniors are FREE to attend and may bring a companion or carer to celebrate this joyous occasion. Seniors can add a companion ticket upon ticket registration.

Please note Senior attendees must have a valid Seniors Card and reside in the Parramatta LGA.

Event Schedule

9:30am – Guest arrival, carollers and morning tea begins.
9:45am – Morning tea
10.30am – Guests take their seats in the theatre
10.35am – Lord Mayor Greeting
10:45am – Movie to commence (1 hour & 44 min duration) – Screening of The Man Who Invented Christmas
12:15 pm- Event concludes (guests to exit after film concludes)
