Celebrate 38 years of Riverside magic – go backstage before our big transformation begins!
Riverside invites the community to celebrate 38 years of extraordinary performing arts experiences by welcoming patrons, past performers and community members to join us behind the scenes for a series of enlivened backstage tours.
Guests will be guided through the hidden labyrinth behind the curtains of the Riverside Theatre, encountering surprise performances and seeing the venue as it’s never been seen before. Ushers take the centre stage, guided by some of Riverside’s most loved personalities as the spotlight is turned on the venue we have known and loved before it is transformed.
We’ve opened a couple of Accessible Friendly Tours, where all guests, including those with mobility needs, can explore the hidden corners of the theatre, enjoy surprise performances, and experience the venue like never before!
