IKEA WARS is here! The cult hit of the Adelaide Fringe comes to the Sydney Comedy Festival at Riverside Theatres for ONE. NIGHT. ONLY.
Two comedians enter the flat-pack thunderdome to undertake the ultimate home improvement indignity: building IKEA furniture.
The task is simple: rip open the box and build the piece of furniture before your opposition does. Is it a race? YES. Is it a game-show? Also YES. A plethora of assorted sabotages are at the contestants’ disposal to ensure that the road to glory is paved with pitfalls! What ensues is a chaotic hour of comic mayhem. And in true IKEA fashion, the instructions won’t help you.
Build the furniture.
Survive the sabotages.
Be crowned the Champion of Sweden!*
