Dawood Sarkhosh, the renowned Afghan-Hazara singer, composer, philanthropist, and iconic figure in the music industry of Afghanistan is visiting Australia and New Zealand in October 2023.
Dawood's powerful and inspiring songs have touched the hearts of millions worldwide, offering solace and healing.
With a deep sense of patriotism born from pain and alienation, Dawood has breathed new life into Afghan art and music, reflecting the struggles of Afghan refugees through his poignant compositions.
Having released seven albums, his music can be found on various platforms and is cherished by fans worldwide. Dawood's talent as a composer and performer shines through his albums, which feature his own compositions as well as works by contemporary poets from Afghanistan and Iran.
Dawood's influence extends beyond his music, as he is actively involved in humanitarian causes, promoting peace, and advocating for child rights.
He has captivated audiences across the globe, performing in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, France, Denmark, Austria, Canada, and Russia and many more. Now, after a three-year hiatus, Dawood is set to embark on a tour in Australia, singing your favourite songs and delivering a mesmerising performance alongside a talented band of six musicians and a world-class orchestra.
