CLIPPED Music Video Premieres comes to Riverside Theatres to showcase unreleased work created by talented Western Sydney musicians and filmmakers.
CLIPPED Music Video Premieres has traveled up and down Australia’s east coast since their first festival in 2019, providing a platform for countless musicians and filmmakers. CLIPPED has partnered with the vibrant artistic hub Riverside Theatres, with support from community partner Western Sydney Filmmakers Hangout, to curate a unique program featuring six never-before-seen music videos from Western Sydney creatives.
Audiences will get the chance to hear insight into the creative process via exclusive Q&A sessions with the creators following each clip. Artists featuring include: G Rebel – August (Dir. Hauntz), DFEKT – Thinking (Dir. Cristobal Olguin), Charnel Rizk – Own My Only (Dir. Tammy Dang), Tina Alcorace – Raised to Kill ft. Allusion (Dir. Adam McPhilbin & Maria Tran), Van Leucia – 1992 (Dir. Gavin Goh) & FuzzTronica – Bag of D**s (Dir. Michael Joy).
This event is a rare opportunity for music video creators to show their work on the big screen, and an opportunity to gather Western Sydney’s creative community together under one roof, sharing knowledge, networking and giving well deserved attention to the art-form.
