THE WORLD ACCORDING TO JAMES

Give your students the unforgettable taste of an intimate jazz club environment and inspire them in their music studies and practice with our engaging and interactive Cool for School concerts and workshops series.

Join us as the internationally acclaimed, ARIA Award nominated and AIR Award-winning jazz band The World According to James come to Riverside for the first time in an exclusive schools’ concert and workshop.

Renowned as one of the funkiest bands on the Sydney jazz scene, The World According to James will engage and entrance your students with their musicianship and humour. From using compositions to demonstrate the fundamentals of music including beat, rhythm, melody and harmony, to showing the direct relationship between composition and improvisation, this event will prove invaluable for music students.
