This ain’t quiet country. This is a smooth mix of country, rock and soul.

Saddle up for a big night out as Simply West ride into town with honest, heartfelt storytelling and a sound built for live rooms.

Taking their name from their Western Sydney roots, Simply West are a four-piece harmony-driven band of brothers, blending country, rock and soul into a classic sound all of their own.

Made up of Ricky Nifo, Michael David, Enese Salu and Joel Adams (X Factor), the band brings together their proud Pacifica, African and Portuguese heritage.

After releasing their debut single in August 2024, Simply West followed up with their EP Best Is Yet To Come, featuring tracks like Already In Paradise, Wave, Fool That Don’t Belong and End of the Road to rave reviews.

“I’ve had a lot of people in here over the last 24 years and no one has made a better debut than this,” said veteran broadcaster Ray Hadley.

They’ve already shared stages with Aussie act Tones And I and taken their sound to the Tamworth Country Music Festival, earning attention for their powerful harmonies and crowd connection.

Before Simply West hit the stage, Western Sydney local Rosita Vai sets the tone with her blend of hip hop, soul and gospel. Rosita’s impressive credits include:
• First and only woman to be crowned New Zealand Idol
• New Zealand Music Award for Best Selling Single
• Nomination for Best Female Artist at the Pacific Music Awards

Settle in for a country bar-style night with good music and drinks from the bar. Perfect for date nights, crew catch-ups and anyone who likes their country with a little extra swagger.

Simply West is part of Undercurrent, sonic takeovers that amplifies the future facing sound of Western Sydney. This project is proudly funded by the NSW Government through the Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner.
