Access All Areas Film Festival 2012

The Sapphires

Venue Lennox Theatre
Dates 11 December 2012

The biggest Australian film of the year, The Sapphires is an inspirational true story set in the heady days of the late ‘60s about a quartet of young, talented singers from a remote Aboriginal mission, plucked from obscurity and guided onto the world stage by a kind-hearted, soul-loving manager.

A crowd-pleasing combination of comedy, heart and romance, set against the racial and social upheaval of the late 1960s with an unbeatable soul music soundtrack, The Sapphires is not to be missed.
