NAIDOC WEEK 2014: BURRAMATTA FAMILY FUN DAY
It’s 1968, and four young, talented Australian Aboriginal girls form an all-girl group called The Sapphires. While there is protest and revolution in the streets around the globe, these sisters learn about love, friendship and surviving war when they are booked to entertain the US troops in Vietnam.
This touching film has scooped a number of awards including AACTA Award for Best Film and has delighted audiences at home and abroad.
Based on a true story, The Sapphires is a triumphant celebration of youthful emotion, family and music.
