Discover the beauty of ballet with three spectacular classical works starring guest artists from The Australian Ballet and graduating students from The Australian Ballet School.

Swan Lake Act III – Undoubtedly the most beloved ballet of all time, this traditional version of Act III, the dramatic ball-room scene, features the famous Black Swan Pas de deux. 

Paquita – This is a beautiful tutu spectacular, one of the cornerstones of traditional classical ballet and the perfect opportunity for you to see the dancers sparkling technique.

Rimbombo, Italian for rumble, showcases the athleticism of the male dancers in the company.

This stunning classical triple bill is perfect for the whole family.

Join Us for Dancers Circle – PRE-Show Talk

Want to learn more about dance? Riverside and FORM Dance Projects have teamed up with Vicki Van Hout to present a series of pre-show talks throughout 2015. Join the Dance Circle and meet a group of like-minded people interested in the dance world. You will meet the choreographers and dancers, learn more about the companies, the performance and dance behind the scenes. Admission is FREE – simply show your ticket to either performance of Classical Triple Bill to participate.

Saturday 22 August
Arrive at 6:30pm and be joined by Vicki Van Hout and her guest David McAllister AM, Artistic Director of The Australian Ballet.

About Vicki Van Hout
Vicki Van Hout is a Wiradjuri descendant. Vicki is a graduate of NAISDA Dance College and the Martha Graham School Of Contemporary Dance, NYC. After graduating in NYC in 1993 Vicki returned to Australia to perform with Bangarra Dance Theatre. Wirad’journi was Vicki’s first full-length work, inspired by Wiradjuri kinship laws. She has choreographed for ATYP, Pulse8, NAISDA, WAAPA, the Helpmann Awards and Quantum Leap.
