SUZUKI METHOD OF ACTOR TRAINING WORKSHOP

Developed by renowned theatre director Tadashi Suzuki, the Suzuki Method of Actor Training serves to strengthen an actor’s physical and vocal sensibilities, developing a highly articulate body capable of expressing and communicating with power and precision. It comprises of six basic physical exercises to train the actor and address problems that arise in performance.
The workshop will focus on the importance of breath, energy, the centre of gravity and stillness in performance, as well as deepen the connection between the participants’ imaginations and their bodies.
This unique and rare opportunity will ultimately teach students, teachers and artists how to get to the soul of their acting.
