Dildar Singh is an international student who goes to New Zealand to look for a job. He soon makes friends, Miral and Rakesh and lands a job in the local sweet shop. When the owner asks for money in return of New Zealand residency, Dildar his friends hatch a plan to sell drugs to make the money. Eventually, they sell them in Jalebis (Indian sweets). But Dildar’s life takes a sudden turn when the sweet shop owner unexpectedly pulls the application leaving him with no option but to leave the country.

This feature is screened with the short film The Lebanese Wallet – an Indian woman finds a wallet and decides to return it to its owner only to find aggression and conflict.
