City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Bob Dwyer is hosting a free Seniors Festival Concert.

Join us for a special ‘Salute To The ANZACs’ performance, showcasing the hit songs, stories, and indeed laughter that came from experiences during World War I, World War II, and the Vietnam War.

The songs will include The White Cliffs of Dover, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Blowin In The Wind, as well as a new version of Bring Him Home from Les Misérables.

The stunning cast is led by narrator Chris McKenna and stars Roy Best, Jaz Flowers, Alison Jones, and Caroline Vercore.

City of Parramatta Council recognise the important role that seniors play in the community and are committed to providing COVID-safe events where people can connect with each other.

This concert is a wonderful opportunity for local seniors to get together and celebrate NSW Seniors Festival.

All residents and ratepayers 55 years and over within the Parramatta LGA are invited to book a free ticket.


Tickets are free of charge. You can book your from our Box Office by calling 02 8839 3399. At the time of booking staff will need to verify attendees are over 55 years, residents or ratepayers from the Parramatta LGA, please have proof of identification ready when purchasing tickets over the phone or at Riverside Theatres.
Tickets to this show must be booked over the phone or in person at the ticket counter located in the Riverside Theatres foyer.

Please Note:

Tickets to this event are sold to 100% of capacity. All Riverside patrons will be seated in line with current NSW Public Health guidelines, allowing patrons to be seated alongside each other. NSW Health strongly recommends you wear a mask when you are inside places where it is difficult to keep 1.5 metres distance from other people.

Please note that NSW Health regularly updates areas where there may be concerns regarding potential case transmission of COVID-19.  Prior to attending your performance, we suggest patrons check the latest Case Alert Updates from Health NSW and follow the instructions regarding Close Contacts and requirements for self-isolation and/or COVID testing as stipulated by Health NSW and the current NSW Public Health Orders. Please note that patrons who have visited any identified alert area must NOT attend public performances or gatherings of any type. Riverside Theatres is registered with the NSW Government as a COVID Safe venue. Our COVID Safe plan was developed in line with federal and state government health guidelines, and following consultation with Live Performance Australia, other NSW venues, and various government bodies, on enhanced health, hygiene and safety measures. These measures include: defined audience capacity; social distancing; wearing face masks; mandatory Service NSW QR code registration check in; extra cleaning; increased sanitisation of high-touch surfaces; the provision of hand sanitiser, anti-bacterial wipes and hand washing facilities throughout the venue; traffic management plans to alleviate congestion in public spaces.
