The dynamic and interactive Sydney Writers’ Festival School Days program returns to Riverside Theatres in 2007 and is bigger and bolder than ever.
As teachers, this is your opportunity to inspire your students and give them the joy of discovering leading international and local writers as they perform, read from their work, talk about their craft and take questions from the students.
The stellar line-up includes Australians Margo Lanagan, Markus Zusak, Alison Lester, Roland Harvey, Andy Griffiths, Shaun Tan, Kate Forsyth, JC Burke, John Flanagan, Tara June Winch and Sean Williams. And international bestselling writers John Boyne from Ireland, Hong Kong funny-man Nury Vittachi and Philip Ardagh, Jacqueline Wilson and Meg Rosoff from the UK.
Secondary students also have the opportunity to attend workshops across creative writing, illustrating and song writing with award-winning Australian writers.
