In support of The National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Research Program

Thillai Nadanalaya Dance School proudly presents “Kundhavi Kavyam,” a spectacular classical Indian dance-drama inspired by Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet,” in aid of The National Breast Cancer Foundation.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation is the leading community-funded organisation in Australia raising money for research into the prevention and cure of breast cancer. The aspirational goal is to achieve zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. With 37 Australians diagnosed each day and seven losing their battle, there is still much to do.

Thillai Nadanalaya is celebrating its 30th Anniversary and is proud to support this vital cause through a dance dramatisation. Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” will be performed with a cultural twist through the classical Indian Bharatanatyam dance form, by students of Smt. Dhamayanthy Balaraju. We welcome all join us for an evening filled with music, dance, colour and traditional Indian culture.
