Pitch for Good features four aspiring social entrepreneurs pitching their great new ideas for social enterprises that they hope to establish in Parramatta. Come along and listen to the pitch, plus enjoy dinner from the amazing Kosheri Korner on us!
Your ticket does so much more than give you entry to this fantastic event – it goes directly towards the social enterprise/s of your choice! You’ll receive $30 worth of tokens to donate after you hear all of the pitches, plus City of Parramatta will match this donation to bring your total contribution to $60.
So grab some friends and come along for a fun night out and support these great local projects!
Enterprises pitches on the night will be;
- Welcome Walls: Connecting refugees, asylum seekers and migrants to their new communities through public art
- Generation Entrepreneur: Empowering disadvantaged high school students to gain entrepreneurial skills and experiences
- State of the Arts: An online platform to investigate, engage and promote the diversity of creative initiatives and cultures across Western Sydney
- Unwaste Your School Habitat: Community building pop-up events that engage families in how to tackle litter and waste in fun and innovative ways
- Cinema of the Oppressed: A storytelling and filmmaking program for migrants and refugees to tell their stories and show their creative ideas
Starts at 6pm and runs till 9pm.
