Riverside presents
PICASSO AND HIS DOG
By Lemony S Puppet Theatre
Come on a journey to Pablo Picasso’s studio in the south of France and experience the remarkable true story of one of the world’s most famous artists. And his dog!
One fine spring morning in 1957, Lump arrived from lunch. Lump was an elongated sausage dog with floppy ears and an inquisitive nature. From the first time he looked into Picasso’s eyes, he knew he was home.
Featuring an inventive mix of live art-making on stage, puppetry or ‘puppy-try’ and magical visual illusions, this production celebrates the animals we share our lives with while exploring what it is to be creative and create. A pure work of art that will enchant and inspire budding artists and animal lovers of all ages. As in real life with pets, Picasso and His Dog will leave paw prints on your heart!
Suitable for: Ages 4+ and their families
