What does a lesbian bartender from a conservative Christian family, a Muslim computer scientist with a worrisome fiancé and a chain smoking, sexually liberated lawyer all have in common? Written and directed by Maysaloun Hamoud, this award-winning drama bravely depicts the lives of three Palestinian women sharing a lively apartment in Tel Aviv. As they battle to find themselves, and the freedom and joy that they yearn for, they must also battle with the implications of living amidst conservative religious and cultural pressures.
