New Production! The world premiere of Royal Ballet Artist in Residence Liam Scarlett’s new full-length ballet, inspired by Mary Shelley’s gothic masterpiece. A story of betrayal, curiosity, life, death and, above all, love, it has inspired Scarlett (known for ballets that marry highly expressive movement, sophisticated musical response and dark psychological depth) to explore the morality of human nature and our need to find a place in the world. For this exciting new ballet he has returned to the music of Lowell Liebermann, commissioning a brand new score.
