Riverside Theatres presents
COMEDY AT RIVERSIDE
Every month three comedians walk into Raffertys Theatre for a whole lot of funny business!
Give the stomach muscles a good workout with a dose of comedy with Sydney Comedy Club’s top-rating (and rather hilarious) comedians from home and abroad!
The September line-up is:
CHRISTIAN ELDERFIELD
BROCK HENRY
GARRY WHO
Please note the comedy acts may contains explicit language.
Christian Elderfield’s performance is packed with wonderfully punchy storytelling and clever observations. Basically it’s a fun show from a witty Brit adjusting to an Aussie lifestyle.
Christian has been in many UK competition finals but since moving to Australia he’s hit the comedy scene hard taking his solo show ‘Christian Elderfield: Bolloxed’ to the Adelaide Fringe where he was rated ★★★★½ by The Adelaide Advertiser.
“Astute Wit” – Chortle
“Polished and edgy” – Rip it up
“Very funny” – Simon Cowell (Britain’s Got Talent 2013)
“Fantastic, intimate, slap-dash comedy” ★★★★½ – The Adelaide Advertiser
Brock Henry has been performing comedy for longer than you’d expect. His comedy career experienced an extremely brief upwards surge when he won his Raw Comedy heat, before resuming its previous trajectory.
His style is deadpan, citing Stephen Wright and dead pans as his main influences.
Garry Who is one of the pioneers of the infamous Sydney Comedy Store. Along with fellow performers Austen Tayshus, Vince Sorrenti, George Smilovich and Calvin De Grey made the Comedy Store a household name. With a career that has spanned three decades, Garry has worked in all facets of show business, Television, Radio and Movies.
Seen on the long running sitcom starring Jon English, All Together Now, Garry’s TV credits also include Hey Hey It’s Saturday, The Hollowmen, and Housos.
