Barry McLeod grew up in rural Scotland and understands only too well how country towns are often neglected when it comes to live entertainment so he started ‘Comic’s On The Run’ touring regional Australia.

The shows have received rave reviews over the last two decades and feature a varying line up of Australia’s best comedians. ‘Comics on the Run’ have toured as far West as Broken Hill and South to Eden and North to Coffs, with some of Australia’s best support and headline comedians.

Barry has always believed that ‘laughter is good for the soul’ – so he took his first steps into stand-up comedy. For the past 20 years he has been writing, performing and producing comedy; whilst balancing this with corporate events, MC and facilitation work.

Emma Malik made her on screen debut on Thailand’s Got Talent – a true story which we’re not going to spoil for you here. She went on to play the female lead for a well-known condom brand and has appeared on Nickelodeon and the Darren Sanders Show – and even managed to land the role of the “before” for a diet shake commercial.

Emma’s debut solo show If You Can’t Train It, Eat It introduced Sydney audiences to her quick wit, audience interactions, high energy… and of course her many-legged co-stars. After completely selling out Sydney Fringe and a subsequent “encore” show added thanks to extreme demand, ‘English rose’ Emma will open her charming, yet oh so dirty mouth and tell you things that David Attenborough never would.

She’ll charm, twist and surprise laugh you… roar-ing fun(ny)” – Chuck Moore Reviews

With over a quarter century on stage Mick Meredith is part joke teller and part guitar slinging song monster. Mick’s shows are a rapid-fire comical commentary of stories, songs, gags and guitarings.

Micks’ ability to entertain any audience from teens up to nans & pops is something not every comic can do and surely proves what a versatile act he truly is. Mick Meredith is one of Australia’s most in-demand comedians for the past 20 years and one of the countries leading musical comedy acts with appearances all over Australia and internationally from PNG to Egypt.

Mick has appeared on film, TV and radio including The Footy Show, Mornings with Kerri Ann, Thursday Night Live, Joker Poker, The Comedy Channel, Stand-up Australia, Triple M, 2GB, 2DAY FM The Sydney Cracker Festival Gala, The Darren Sanders Show, Talking Comics and feature films Pitbulls, Bloody Hell and Footy Legends. As well as LG, Picnic, Nicorette, KFC and AAPT commercials and featured comedian on The Footy Shows best of the comedians DVDs 1 and 2.

The highlight of Micks’ career has been shows abroad for the Aussie armed forces and federal police in East Timor and Cyprus and for 25 different nationalities in The Sinai in Egypt.

Mick has also produced his own albums including Man United and Mid Laugh Crisis and the live DVD 100% Mick.
