FORM Dance Projects and Force Majeure present
CHOREOGRAPHIC WORKSHOP

FORM Dance Projects is delighted to present its annual Choreographic Workshop in 2018 in partnership with Force Majeure dance theatre company.

This popular program provides HSC dance students with the unique opportunity to develop their choreographic skills under the guidance of industry professionals.

Mentored by Force Majeure Artistic Director, Danielle Micich and company artists, the practical workshop shares choreographic tools and techniques gleaned from the company’s methodology and productions. In the immersive one-day workshop, students learn new ways to generate interesting material and movements, and develop their confidence and creativity in composition.

The workshop program will include insights into the artistic process through viewing and discussing video of Force Majeure work with the artists.

The Choreographic Workshop is incredibly valuable for HSC students and young dancers who would like to participate in Sharp Short Dance later in the year.

It taught the students a new way to choreograph.” HSC Dance Teacher

A downloadable resource pack from Force Majeure will be available with this workshop.
