Riverside Theatres presents Sydney Sacred Music Festival

A Sacred Exchange

Venue Lennox Theatre
Dates 05 September 2015

Five of Australia’s leading sacred music practitioners are ‘unpacking’ their own sacred tradition for our audiences via solo performances and discussion and then coming together to create a unique interfaith performance, directed by Richard Petkovic.

Australia’s Grand Master of the Japanese Shakuhachi, Riley Lee will lead our program and will be followed by Mongolian Throat singer and horse fiddle player Bukhu Ganburged; the golden voice of Uyghur Bard, Shohrat Tursun; Sufi violinist Asim Gorashi and Australia’s leading exponent of the Indian Tabla, Bobby Singh.

A one off night of tradition, culture, spirit and collaboration.
