Sure to be an interesting and hilarious evening as Mark Humphries chats to cartoonist David Pope for this Behind The Lines Special Event.

David Pope has been drawing cartoons for the alternative press in Australia since the mid-1980s, under the pen name Hinze. Most recently he has been creating editorial cartoons for The Sun-Herald and The Canberra Times. He has won multiple awards for his work including being named “Cartoonist of the Year” by both the Australian Cartoonists Association and the Museum of Australian Democracy.

Mark Humphries is a comedy writer/performer best known for his work on ABC2’s The Roast. He now presents a new version of that show for Guardian Australia. He has also written pieces for A Rational Fear, Guardian Australia, The Hoopla and has appeared on ABC News Breakfast, SBS’ The Feed and Talking Pictures with Mike Bowers.
