Bursting onto the scene in 2024, she has already carved her path to major stages with fierce determination and undeniable presence. A proud advocate for POC and Trans awareness, JUBAHLEE carries deep roots in the LGBTQIA+ community and has quickly become a symbol of self-expression, empowerment, and unapologetic vivacity. Her ascent is not only a personal triumph but a moment of pride for the communities she represents.

Ma’ata

Ma’ata

Ma’ata is a proud fāfā and community worker whose practice moves fluidly between the dancefloor, the arts sector, and her communities.

From everywhere and nowhere, she is known for selecting and spinning tracks at events made for, with, and by the queer and Pacific collectives she serves.

She has performed, curated, and produced music programs for young queer people in partnership with local councils and arts centres, including curating the exhibition celebrating The Bearded Tit before its closure.

Her work has been published in Runway Journal, and she has delivered sets for the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Performance Space (with Latai Taumoepeau), Sydney Festival, Mardi Gras’ season parties, ballroom afterparties, and Tonga Day 2022.

Across Sydney’s resilient queer nightlife scene, Ma’ata’s presence remains staunch, joyful, and deeply rooted in community, continuing to anchor QBIPOC-led spaces and events with her sound.

Naisa Lasalosi

Naisa Lasalosi is a multi-disciplinary creative whose work spans the theatre stage, television, live events, and the recording studio. A performer, writer, and sound practitioner, Naisa brings depth and purpose to every project, with a strong passion for sharing Pacific queer stories.
