Ktang! Sam suddenly stands in a crumbling ghost town. A demon wold howls. Bats shriek overhead, drawing closer.
Zombie Thoughts is the story of two best friends Sam and Pig, avatars in an epic fantasy video game where all of Sam’s deepest darkest fears comes to life. Sam has +5 intelligence, anxiety and is armed with a book. Pig has +3 humour, is often distracted and armed with a rubber chicken.
Battle terrifying monsters, level up and unlock the tools to defeat the final boss in this dazzling world filled with everything you’ve ever been afraid of. Will you be able to help Sam make the right choices on their quest to defeat the evil Machine?
A touching and hilarious journey in, around and through anxiety. Choose your own adventure with this live, interactive show where the audience influences the outcome.

From the Program Coordinator…
This creative, ground-breaking and unique production is a great way to demystify anxiety for your students. The 9-year-old co-writer of Zombie Thoughts decided that it should be set in the world of a video game because he “cares a lot” about them and thought other kids would too. You can’t get more relevant than that! Your students will love picking the outcome of this play and will learn about some tools for managing mental health and develop empathy for others going through anxiety.
