Q&A with Jimmy Barnes

Venue Riverside Theatre
Dates 26 May 2017
Category Live Event

‘The time I have spent writing this book has caused me a lot of pain. Sometimes because of what I have remembered about my childhood and sometimes because of what I couldn’t remember,’ says rock legend Jimmy Barnes of his memoir Working Class Boy. Jimmy talks to Richard Glover, reflecting on his family’s migration from Scotland to Australia, his traumatic and violent childhood, and his dream of escaping the suburbs by joining a rock ’n’ roll band.

Please note: Jimmy Barnes will not be singing at this event.

Date & Time: Friday 26 May at 7.30pm
