Enjoy the perfect Sunday afternoon with a tasting of delicious ciders from local Blue Mountains boutique brewers Hillbilly and fabulous music from international jazz musician and composer Phillip Johnston who returns to Riverside with his new seven-piece ensemble.
Featuring four saxophones, original swinging jazz, blues and Latin, the concert will infuse big-band-era dance music with modernist sensibilities and will certainly be a memorable afternoon.
Phillip divides his time between Sydney and New York. He has written theatre music for Bell Shakespeare and film music for Paul Mazursky, Henry Bean and Philip Haas; his silent film scores have been performed at the New York Film Festival, across Europe and Australia.
Ticket includes a free bottle of cider
