Sydney Youth Orchestras is the leading orchestral training and education provider in New South Wales and was founded as a single orchestra in 1973 by the visionary music educator and conductor, Peter Seymour. Over 45 years it has grown to become a community of over 500 young musicians, aged 6-24, from all over Sydney and beyond. We gather weekly for rehearsals in the city and Western Sydney, in twelve different ensembles carefully constructed to match skill, age and experience.

Our Autumn Showcase will feature four of SYO’s five senior orchestras. Join us as our students showcase their learning each term in a concert all are welcome to attend. These concerts are the perfect opportunity to come and see what SYO is all about.
