Survival Tactics screens as part of Breaking on Film, a mini film festival to celebrate Cypher during Sydney Festival

An all star cast of Australian Hip Hop unite in a powerful journey through the struggles of the urban metropolis. The freshest Bboys, Bgirls, free runners, DJs, MCs, spoken word, graffiti and street artists explode on screen in Australia’s first ever Hip Hop feature film.

Released early from jail, Aboriginal MC, Swerve (Wire MC) attempts to reunite with his girlfriend, emerging young dancer, Rosa (Demi Sorono). While he was in lockup, Swerve’s best mate Fury (Morganics) has spiraled into homelessness and drug addiction, scoring from Swerve’s rival, DJ Rich (Bboy Jay). Now their rivalry comes to a head when Swerve discovers that Rose has been rehearsing with DJ Rich to host his upcoming all star Hip Hop jam.
