Project Homeless Awards

Venue Lennox Theatre
Dates 11 July 2014

Filmmakers united across the world to reveal everyday life of homeless people. From comedy to drama, documentary to machinima, all were part of this year’s Project Homeless Film Competition.

The films being screened at the Awards illustrate many and varied reasons for being homeless, such as LGBT intolerance, choosing to live on the streets or issues facing returned veterans .

Parramatta City Council is offering filmmakers $10,000 in cash prizes to further their career. In addition, North Bondi RSL is offering a $1,000 prize for the best film about Returning War Veterans.

The finalists include entries from Egypt, Germany, USA, India, Lebanon, Finland and Australia. Who will take out the 1st prize of $5,000 cash?
