Riverside Theatres Presents
Playback Theatre Sydney
PLAYBACK THEATRE – PERFORMANCE AND DEVISING WORKSHOP
An interactive devising experience your students will love.
Playback Theatre is renowned for honouring stories and creating improvised theatre that is moving and impactful. Using a fusion of drama, storytelling, movement and live music, the ensemble customise each performance by translating the audience’s life experiences into theatre on the spot and in the moment. The result is surprising, moving and humorous.
The workshop offers students the chance to use Playback Theatre’s unique style to inform their devised works.
Unable to participate in the workshop? There is no need to miss out altogether – come and see Playback Theatre perform live on stage. The performance will act as a valuable example of turning real stories into interactive theatrical experiences for your students.
*1 teacher free per 20 students – show only. Workshop free for supervising teachers.
