Venue Lennox Theatre
Dates 16 March 2014

These veteran table tennis players have a lot to teach us about sports, ageing and life.

Seven-time champion Les (89) still lifts weights. Texan Lisa Modlich (85) is determined to win her first gold. Inge (89) has used table tennis to train her way out of the dementia ward. And no one comes close to Australian legend Dor deLow, now over 100, a celebrity on the circuit. Spend some quality time in the company of these tireless older achievers as they compete in the Over-80s Word Table Tennis Championships. You’ll leave the cinema with renewed faith in our ability to live life to the fullest, whatever our age.

This is not a film about ping pong; this is a film about living in the moment. Delightful, hilarious and completely inspirational.” – Empire Magazine
