Chalkdust Theatre Company

Venue Raffertys Theatre
Dates 14 February - 16 February 2013

Chalkdust Theatre Company presents Love Letters by AR Gurney for four performances only including Valentine’s Day. This romantic comedy is evocative, heart-warming and touching and ideal for couples wanting to do something different together.

Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner are childhood friends whose lifelong correspondence begins with birthday party thank-you notes and summer camp postcards.

Romantically attached, they continue to exchange letters through the boarding school and college years—where Andy goes on to excel at university and law school, while Melissa flunks out of a series of “good schools”.

Each performance will have a different cast sometimes bringing together pairings of real life partners and friendships spaning decades.

To create the mood tickets include a glass of bubbles on arrival and the performances take place in Riverside’s smallest and most intimate theatre space, the Raffertys Theatre. Audiences will love, Love Letters!
