Riverside Theatres Presents
HOLROYD REMEMBERS
by City of Holroyd Band
Join the Holroyd Brass Band and guests for an inspiring concert to recognise those who have served in the armed forces and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Holroyd Band will perform musical works reflecting the great spirit of the war years and, through the music, allow us to remember the great contribution made by our service men and women. Featuring war time favourites, film scores and sacred tunes, Holroyd Remembers will be unforgettable.
Sing and dance your way through the first half, as the uplifting melodies take you back to a time when friends were all you had. Then sit back, slow down and remember what the war years left behind.
Let the music be a vessel for reflection and a vision of hope for a peaceful future.

Founded in 1972 as a special project for the Centenary Year of the City of Holroyd Council, Holroyd Brass Band has gone from strength to strength for nearly 50 years.
Starting out with less than 20 members, the band quickly grew, playing at local community events and competing at state and national level. The band excelled to become an A-Grade band, and has remained so for the better part of its life.
Today, Holroyd Brass A-Grade band has over 35 members ranging in age from enthusiastic teens to sprightly seniors. The band still enjoys competing, as well as entertaining audiences at concerts and local events. The band has also recently recommenced its junior training band program, welcoming a new group of inspiring young musicians to the world of brass bands.
