Gran’s Bag

Venue Riverside Theatre
Dates 04 August - 07 August 2010

When Gran comes to visit, she brings her beautiful big red bag. It is a treasure trove of secrets and small delights, full of surprises and stories.

The best story of all is about how Gran found her magic carpet bag, or did her bag find her?

Chrissie Shaw appears as the larger than life Gran, and pulls the entire show out of her handbag – which seems to have a secret life of its own. With storytelling, songs, and puppetry, Gran takes us on an adventure full of twists and turns. You’ll never know where the story will go next!

Gran’s Bag is a delightful show, designed specially for 4 to 7 year olds. Inspired by stories told to the artists by children and grandparents, Gran’s Bag is the perfect show for families to see together.
