Rakhesh was born and brought up in Sri Lanka, and lived in the UK where he started doing stand-up and won multiple cut-throat gong shows before moving to Australia in 2017. He made a splash very quickly here, reaching the Grand Final of RAW in 2019 at his first attempt, and has established himself as a circuit favourite both as an act and an MC.
First coming to Australia in the Mid 80s JJ Mullard quickly established himself as a big favourite with Australian audiences everything from TV to the Comedy Store and touring with International Stars. Now back in Australia
JJ is wowing a whole new audience. With his sharp mix of observational humour and quick fire gags JJ cleverly bridges the gap between new and old style comedy and is hugely popular with audiences of all ages.
Darren Sanders has been performing stand up comedy for 30 years and can been seen anywhere from hosting his own late night chat show to appearing in movies and TV shows.
In pre Covid years, Darren Sanders has been working on cruise ships in The USA, Asia, New Zealand and South Pacific entertaining nationalities from all over the world. He even opened for the legendary group The Temptations on their Australian tour.
He hosted the late night chat show, ‘The Darren Sanders Show’ which aired nationally in Australia on the Nine Network’s GO Channel and Foxtel and is currently hosting The Coast Show.
As an actor Darren has appeared in Underbelly 3 and the feature film ‘Any Questions for Ben’ where he had the honour of having the last line in the film. He appeared in the TV drama ‘A Place To Call Home’ and is currently working on bringing ’The Comedy Outlaws’ to the big screen.
In May 2001 he opened the original The Laugh Garage Comedy Club in Sydney which ran for 13 years. In 2017 he opened The Sydney Comedy Club which has branched out to perform shows on the Central Coast at The Entrance Lake House.
